  • Yes. You are never locked in. Start on Direct to ship fast, then switch to your own AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI account when you have credits, compliance needs, or specific infrastructure requirements. We handle the migration.
  • Yes. We offer zero-cost white-glove migration, in most cases, to both Connect and Direct. Our team does the heavy lifting so you can focus on your product. In some cases, there may be a small migration fee, but we will always be transparent about the cost.
  • Direct starts with zCloud compute. For unusually large managed database disks, retained backup storage, or source builds above the included monthly minutes, clear overage lines can apply. The docs pricing page is the detailed source of truth.
  • On Direct, sandboxes are billed at 3× the regional zCloud rate on the zClouds they have allocated, by the second, with no minimum and no fixed fee. Paused sandboxes do not accrue compute. On Connect, sandboxes run on your own nodes and are included in the license.
